Children and Family Law Support, Advice and Advocacy.
Child Arrangements
I specialise in all matters relating to children and have a vast amount of experience, including but not limited to:
Child residence and contact
Name change
Relocation (within and outside the country)
Educational, religious or medical disagreements
Allegations of alienating behaviour (parental alienation)
Enforcement of existing orders
I act for both applicants and respondents in relation to domestic abuse, within children proceedings and separately/stand-alone, including injunctions such as Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
Areas of Practice
Finance
Lola advises and provides representation in financial matters upon divorce and in respect of children (including prenuptial and separation agreements). Lola has acted for both applicants and respondents, husbands and wives, and is skilled at narrowing the issues early on. If settlement out of court is realistic, Lola strives and works hard to achieve this.
Also being a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of England and Wales, Lola is well connected to other professionals that may be needed for full resolution of a case, such as Forensic Accountants and Actuaries.
Divorce
Divorce is rarely not a very difficult time in a person’s life. I endeavour to make the legal process as efficient and painless as possible, especially now that the government has finally introduced ‘no fault’ divorce.
I am able to offer a fixed fee for most divorces, plus the court fee for applicants ( which is currently £593).
Surrogacy
Surrogacy is a complex and particularly delicate area of law. I provide advice and representation for both surrogates and intended parents involved in the surrogacy process. I assist with applications for Parental Orders (to be recognised as the legal parent) and advises on the different elements needed for a successful application.
